Thanks guys!

I know, this is not a astronomical imaging anymore but my weather up here gives me some extra time to play with my images. I don't take this too seriously but by doing things like this, I have had much more imformation and joy out of my few images.

Actually I have couple of dozen unpublished movies ready made, since I'm doing them at night while imaging.

Quote:

Wow, nice job!
I guess you don't need active cooling of your cameras in Finland.

Powerful cooling is needed to keep up the constant temp in various temperatures. I have set the cooling level to -30 centigrade since we can have easily as cool at night time.
(I had problems with my darks couple of years ago, It was below -40 centigrade outside and the cooling can't warm up the camera... well, that temp coursed much other problems to my gears and prevent me imaging after all.)

Cooler than even the previous ones, J-P, in doing a penetrating fly-in instead of a relatively small-rotation fly-by. We're getting jaded already. It's amazing how you manage to extract and separate the different features (nebula, distant star field, etc) so you can assign them all distances in your 3D image. Truly innovative.
