I was there too (not affiliated with any clubs or societies), that's my white Criterion RV-8 up front and un-attended.

A stage that was near me. The worst thing was the temporary parking lights they set up in a distant field, those things must have been 1 jillion candle power! (really wrecking the sky pretty badly!) Otherwise I had long lines all night.
I had looked up before hand that Jupiter's GRS was coming around and would be crossing the meridian later on, so I had told some people, and they actually came back later, one guy after seeing that Jupiter's GRS was actually there was very surprised that I was telling him the truth and said so
I was very happy to see the pleasant responses and thanks, makes it worthwhile.

Jason;
Nice pictures. That's my big white refractor in the background to the right of your Criterion. I heard there were between 7000 and 7500 people there. I had maybe 1-2 min. all night long when there wasn't someone looking through the scope. Only managed to get 4 objects (Jupiter, M42, NGC457 and M45), but the customers were very happy.

Hi Jason and Brian Icaza...
Looks like is not just a big week, but successful and attended by over 7000 peoples for this Florida Astronomy....
Great to see such major events, in the beginning of the year, with another one coming from Tucson, in one weeks time.....
