February 10th sun sketch

Hi.

Still in my bed at 8am, I checked the weather forecast for the day and sky was getting cloudy around 9:30am. So I jumped out my bed and went outside to catch today's sun.

But look what today's sun looks like ! Amazingly calm compared to yesterday. I had to check GONG to be sure it was true. That was really turbulent.

The sun is comparatively serene, here. Well captured, though...as always! Despite the seeming tranquility, there are some unique proms on the disk horizon. I am particularly curious about that palm tree shaped flare to the right of frame...quite peculiar. Always a treat to see your disc illustrations, Andre.
