Telescope Reviews: motion picture film anyone?

hey people, I'm slowly getting back into astronomy after being out of it for a long long time trying to get a life. My interest was there when coulter optical had a wide range of cheapie down. I'm also a point and shoot viewer, not an expert by any means.

anyway, because I must love difficulty and expense, I'm a film user. One of my other fetishes that I've been getting back into film making which made me wonder if anybody out there was using motion picture film for astrophotography. I figured with fast speed and super fine grain structure that it would be perfect. Pushing the 500asa to 1000 doesn't do much damage so to speak, or would be great for stacking or long exposures. So anybody out there using the stuff?
