There's quite a lot of solar activity taking place today, as seen through my 40mm f/10 Coronado PST and an 8-24mm Vixen zoom eyepiece. A large hedgerow prominence is visible on the trailing limb and a very distinctive arch prominence on the leading limb. Several filaments can be seen, as well as a couple of sunspots (1670 and 1671).

Agreed, Dave. The sun looked great today. I got a couple hours in at lunch before the rains hit. I posted an image in another thread - I had intended to just take a quick look while I ate a sandwich, but found it cool enough to get the camera out.
