Observing Lists new
      #5675949 - 02/12/13 02:19 PM

Not sure I saw questions on observing lists here or on the beginners forum, so I'm posting it here.

I was getting together a list for this week observing for DSO's before the moon gets to bright. I use "Tonight's Sky" and enter in my location and then pick DSO's visible from magnitude 1-8 and visible from 7pm to 11pm...4hrs worth observing. I got back a list of 100 objects! Pretty neat, sorts them by magnitude and also above 30* above my horizon. BTW you can do the same for double stars if you want and get a whole other list.

Check it out, works great!

Bob

It's a great program Bob. I use it often. So many objects, so little time.
