Your pain has ended, the Portaball sold today. It was a dog anyway.
Bob,
I'd rather have that bike in the pic, forget the ball scope...
Danny, Funny/sad you should mention that classic old Shovelhead Harley-Davidson. I watched it get put on a semi truck this morning headed for a fellow astronomer in Canada who saw it in one of my ads. I have been grieving/moping around today and miss the "Flying Banana". I have had over 85 (not a typo) motorcycles and have ridden many hundreds of thousands of miles since the age of 15 1/2 and figured it was about time to hang up my helmet before I got wacked by somebody texting while driving. The Harley was just a weekend toy and a project that was on my bucket list. I have my Italian Ducati ST4 Sport Tourer with its very grunty 916cc V-twin race-bred engine at the local Ducati store up for sale as well. I will miss the distinctive potato-potato sound of the Shovelhead Harley and the Italian baritone sounds of my dual Termignoni carbon-fiber exhausts on the Duc. Must make room for more telescopes

Leo, Your pain has ended, the Portaball sold today
Bob:
I wanted to send you a PM and thank you for keeping up the facade that you had sold the scope. Honestly, it was so nice of you to recognize I could really use your Portaball and make a gift of it to me. I promise I will not reveal this to anyone. My lips are sealed.
You are very wise, you recognize that the things we look at, the spiritual enhancement, the observing experience, are far more important that the equipment we might choose.
Still, I am looking forward to receiving the Portaball and thanks again for your kind gift.

It must be April 1st! Besides Jon, you have more scopes than I do although this is definetly not a contest. Bob

You take the bike... I'll take the mount, observing chair, and the two mystery boxes on the workbench along with their contents in the background view.
Oh... and that 3rd box on the floor as well.

Terence, I am a lamb among a sea of sharks<g>. Good eye, you just bagged my DiscMount DM6 on a G11 tripod, Lunt 60 solar scope, Baader Photographic Herschel Wedge, and a complete assortment of collimation tools both active and passive. I am surprised you didn't want the Tom Osypowski equatorial platform underneath the little step stool (must be the wrong latitude)? It is a good thing that I have an alarm, boobie traps and attack dogs Well, maybe not the dogs or boobie traps.
