Hi,
this is the first time I post an image here. I have been a silent reader in the past.
After a long time of bad weather here in Germany it cleared last sunday and I could get some data for this wide field image of the southern part of Auriga.
(Click on the thumbnail for larger image.)
I used a 150mm Sigma lens in combination with an ALCCD10 camera. Some thin high clouds caused some kind of softener effect around the brighter stars.
Best regards Andreas

Meanwhile, I remember hearing good things about your software, Regim, from my friend Tahir Saban.
I need to give it a go soon.
Will you be coming to CEDIC 2013 Andreas ?
Cheers

Thanks Sedat, mmalik and bouffetout,
@mmalik: Yes the ALCCD10 is an OSC. It is probably better known as QHY10 in the US.
@Sedat: Well I would like to come to CEDIC this year but unfortunately I have too many different appointments in March this year, so I will probably not make it to Linz.
Best regards Andreas

Very nice widefield image. Lots of stars and detail. It has a bit of everything, nebulosity, cluster, stars.
Welceom to the group!

You're not kidding when you say "widefield." I haven't seen this area often imaged from this perspective. Great job.
