This was my first attempt with the Celestron SCT and Orions OAG and 6.3 FR
I managed to get 19 images at 6 minutes I had only one discarded image due to wind gust
I used my modified Canon 450D The moon was out at about 1/4
I used cds LPS filter
Larger Version

Did you do anything to get rid of glare coming off the bright star on the left? I image with the same scope and have strange glare or reflections when bright stars in in or near the FOV. Looks like you have a slight hint of it, but much much less drastic then mine.

No I just noticed the spikes I did have a strange reflection at the bottom of the cone however that I had to clone out It was a blue donut
