Focuser combo?       #5682245 - 02/15/13 07:53 PM Edit   Reply   Quote Quick Reply   I have a Tak Mewlon 180 fitted with a Feathertouch Focuser ( FTF2008BCR )and could use some suggestions as to a couple good eyepieces. There are a few threads out there about certain eyepieces not coming to focus with this combo and I could use some advice from people that have used this equipment. This would be mainly for planetary and double star viewing. Anywhere between 50X-200X. Thanks in advance. But I have found the Vixen 17mm LVW comfortable as a great mid-range ep. I am part of Adler and a scrappy group of sidewalk astronomers, Chicago Astronomer. We do a lot of observing along the lakefront. PM me for more details. Enjoy your Mew180. It's a nice portable lunar/planetary grab-n-go scope.
