Hunting for a meteorite

I wonder, if somebody here has ever found a meteorite himself, and wants to share his experience.
I personally am looking for a meteorite, but with our humidity it is all, but impossible to find one.
Anyway today I found a rock.
It is shaped as meteorites are

It has something that looks as remains of a fusion crust:

It attracts a magnet, and it is not Magnetite because it leaves no brown streak at a tile.
Still it is very doubtful my rock is a meteorite
