Hi.
Day was supposed to be clear all day yesterday but we got a very nice overcast. Looking at the weather maps, I discovered the sun was 120km (75 miles) away so I drove there to catch it. That was not that cold, -14C but very windy, not comfortable at all in the parking lot.

Fantastic sketch Andre, you even got the fine details of the fleeting prom at 6 o'clock. Amazing. Worth the drive and the cold. Thanks for sharing.

Andre, amazing artistry skills. Your "sketch" looks better and more realistic than a lot of solar ccd images!!! How long did it take??

Andre,
With you on the case, the sun never has a chance to hide. Excellent sketching.

Thank you so much to all.
Jim Chung. Thank you for you interest in my sketches and your nice comments. First time I see you around. I'm sketching the sun since only 6 months and I regret I didn't start earlier.
Otto, nice to see you around too. Thanks.
Andre.
