EQMOD vs Meade #497 controller new

Can anyone help me with connecting EQMOD to a Meade LXD75 or ETX mount? I have EQMOD installed, I have the "classic" Meade Driver installed. But when I go to EQMOD's setup, I never see an option for Meade, only the default Synta.
Is there a trick to get EQMOD to see a new driver?
Otherwise, EQMOD appears to be working properly.

Sorry. EQMOD is only for the Synta SynScan telescopes. It will not work with your Meade.

Tried to reply earlier, not sure if I succeeded!

Thanks so much, this saved me an afternoon of trying to do the impossible! I'd heard a lot about EQMOD, but the main reason I wanted to get it working was to use Alignmaster.

I am now thinking I can as easily use Stellarium or Carte Du Ciel.... but that will be another post.

Hi Charles, just a short note. I have Stellarium and Sky-X Serious working with the LXD-75 mount. You won't be wasting your time with these. I have not worked with Carte Du Ciel or the ETX though.
