I made these two sketches in great haste, trying to capture a couple of interesting observations. The seeing on both occasions was excellent - balmy conditions, sitting there in my shorts and tee shirt, mosquitos nibbling my ankles....Ah, bliss! Sorry to my northern hemisphere friends freezing their numyaks off!

I heard the southern island has these mosquitos with tusks!! Id love to go there though - sailing [a passion of mine] is BIG over there.
