Wheels are the cat's meow! Good job! Gonna paint them black or red? They gotta match, you know.

I couldn't use my 10" Dob if it wasn't for the caster wheels on the bottom of its base. It saves your back & at my age-heart.

Nice job! Don't think I could move my mirror and rocker boxes without them. In the warmer months I leave my trusser set up and easily can roll the whole thing out to the patio making it a large grab and go.

Hi Tom, yes that was me. You were set up right across from us Michigan boys. You had a 10" dob IIRC, looks like the astronomy bug caught on, eh? Cheers,

I am glad you like the wheels. Wheels are great in any configuration.
I myself prefer wheels in the Ross Sackett's Captain Nemo position:

Sure did catch! You and your friends from Michigan really helped me out on my first astro venture, and made it great. I will always remember it. "Tom" even let me borrow and use his tel-rad dew heater. BTW, The veil is still my fav object.
