6wks of bad weather for me. new

My AT10RCCF just arived today. Im a happy camper. Well except for the cloudy sky's... Which im sure will last for weeks now.
Im waiting on my new rings for my guide scope and a dew shield and a few other things. Cant wait to get out and do some imaging.

Thanks. I got a break in the clouds so i went out and tried to align...

Then it got cloudy again.

But i did get it focused on the moon for a bit.

Sooooo happy.

is that all the counterweights? that thing must be really light compared to the metal one.

i could never get round stars with my AT10RC and G11, even with an OAG, so it will be interesting to see what you get with your hypertuned G11.

No theres a 20lb weight below that one. Just not in the picture. I have successfully imaged at 2500mm with my G11 at f/10. Not only is it hypertuned but its got an Ovision worm. And im working on maybe buying pempro to train the pec. Though im not sure i need it.
My guidescope is an Orion ST80 with an ssag..

Also noticed the collimation was off.

Thanks! I actually had a few hrs last night to check collimation. And of course it was off. So i screwed around twith that for a while. I think its perfect now. But I need a really clear night to check it.

I just got a new OTA that I am dying to try out but the weather here is terrible. We just got another 4 inches of snow last night....

Something to do with RC scopes clearly.....!
In UK been cloudy since beginning of December - the worst winter ever here. We are calling the last 18 months our "18 month winter". Been a few hour long patches of clear but not worth setting up imaging rig.
Desperate to test my RC collimation which is out...
