Pages: 1 cpsTN Carpal Tunnel Reged: 04/26/07 Loc: Rutherford Co, TN Middle Tennessee Seeing lately?       #5697204 - 02/23/13 08:01 PM Edit   Reply   Quote Quick Reply   I don't know about others in my area, but when we don't have clouds, I can't seem to get a clear image above 150x or so on Jupiter. I was expectng more when I saw that Jupiter was going to be almost as high as it can be. Could it be the up and down temps we have been having lately? The daytime temperatures have been bouncing around from 35 to 60 *F lately, with nighttime temps being 25-45*F or so. I'm not really complaining. I had one night in January that I rated as a 4 of 5 for seeing, other than that its been awful since November. When there are no clouds, the transparency is not good and/or the seeing is really bad. Now I understand the statement my wife made when I mentioned the thought of going up to a 24, and she said in a very nice way...Why? You can't use the one you have now... Post Extras:       Pages: 1
