It's gettin' harder to eek out any good ones. By the time I get set up, it is way past meridian and I'll have a short opportunity. We aren't gonna have much time left to get many more of Jupiter for this go around. There does seem to be some vertical/horizontal noise lines. It may be time for a camera upgrade. Sometimes varying the gain/fps combination helps to minimize them, but it does seem to be a NI5 flaw. If I understood it better, I might be able to address it. I suspect I may have a new camera by the time Jupiter comes around again. Here's one more out of the same batch. I wish I could eliminate the 'fixed pattern noise', it would improve it some. Your new scope really has a lot of potential for sure! What fps did you use? I seem to remember the Neximage is similar to the SPC900 so if you go lower then 15fps it won't compress likely.
