This year at Tristar, a forum (free to the public) bringing astronomer aficionados and professions together for one whole day, I put on a two-table display of items related to the return of Halley's Comet in 1985-6. I included two vintage telescopes, (a Pentax and a Milben), as well as books, a poster, Matchbox cars, postage stamps, and other paraphernalia related to the event. It was a great success and I got lots of positive feedback. Everyone had a great time at Tristar today!
