Greetings all!
Attached is an observation I made of Jupiter on 27th Feb, and a observation I made of the Sun in white light on the 2nd March.

Very good Paul.
Is it your first sketch of the sun ? I don't remember seeing more from you ? Maybe my memory...
Andre.

Good idea to sketch the sun too! 4 cm refractor... you don't see that a lot around anymore.

Very nice indeed, Paul! Your colours are quite vivid and make your sketches very much "alive". It's also interesting to see the rotation of the Jupiter surface. It must've taken a lot of patience to draw that all. And I concur with Jef. You don't see many 40mm refractors around anymore. But yet it's amazing what you can already see with them. Very nice work!

Greetings all- Andrev I have done sketches of the sun before but I don't often post them. Mostly because we got so little Sun last year!!!
Jeff- I got the small 'scope just for solar work. It actually works rather well for it!
Peter- thanks. I see the colours very vividly- I don't know people cannot see them and I try to render them as accurately as possible.

Paul, great sketch of Jupiter for such poor/mediocre conditions. Always love your colors.
Equally impressive solar sketch. Nice work.

Very. Nice work. I have never glimpsed that much detail on Jupiter.
