That is a beautiful setup Emanuel. Great scope on a great mount. Should give you years of enjoyment.

Thanks Kunama!
You know, i had some scopes, before this one, but i always wanted a apochromatic refractor, and with this one, im really happy, its a awesome machine!
With the addiction of the FeatherTouch focuser, im only improving the scope!

Ah, ive just remember that i need some help from you guys!
With the change of the focuser, i solve one problem on the FLT, but i got another one! I have a field flattner for the Williams Optics, the one on the link, but the problem is that is doesn't fit on the Feathertouch!!
The question is: is there an adapter to fit the field flattner on the new focuser?

Just an information regarding the previous issue! Starlight instruments just inform me the correct adapter to fit the Williams Optics Field Flattner and the Feathertouch focuser!
And damn, they were fast, in less than one our i had the information about the correct adapter! Very nice from Starlight Instruments!

Hey guys, just some update on the refractor:
Had some nights of good weather, got the chance to use the Feathertouch focuser, and i can say that is absolutely a joy to use, very precise and smooth; furthermore,if you add a lot of weight to it, it wont loose its performance. A real impressive piece of machinery.
And also, just a small info to anyone that has the same refractor and has the same problem with the dewshield: after all, the loose dewshield, that slides back when is on vertical positions, its very easy to fix, the only thing you need to do, it's to remove the dewshield, by unscrewing the gold back side of it and pulling him out, and then you will see a black strip of felt on the objective case; the objective case is not a flat surface, but instead is flat and slighty diagonal , and the black strip, that makes the friction for the dewshield, is glued on the diagonal side; well, all that you need to do, is to remove the strip, and glue it back again, but on the flat side. Now, the dewshield is so stiff , that i can put 5 kilos on top of it, that it wont move...

Did you have to worry about re-alignment when putting the objective back on?

Hello Peter! No no, the objective case is screwed into the tube, wich means that as long you tight it all the way, it will be in the correct position!
Here`s a photo of it, so you can see what i mean:
