First spectra of each planet of 4 planet system
      #5726896 - 03/11/13 09:23 PM

The first spectra from each planet of a 4 planet system have been identified using the venerable classic Hale Telescope!

The article is "Astronomers conduct first remote reconnaissance of another solar system"

http://phys.org/news/2013-03-astronomers-remote-reconnaissance-solar.html#jCp

Based on a paper that was accepted in APJ this past Friday, here's the link to the paper

RECONNAISSANCE OF THE HR 8799 EXOSOLAR SYSTEM I: NEAR IR SPECTROSCOPY

That instrument should be very interesting in the future!
