Here is an image of Comet Pan-STARRS taken from Oakland, CA overlooking the Port of Oakland and the Bay Bridge with the thin, crescent moon illuminated by Earthshine.

Roughly a 1s exposure taken on 3/13/13 at approximately 02:30 UT. Wish it had been a bit less overcast. Nikon D700 with a 70-200AFS-VR lens coupled to a 1.4 tele-extender for a final focal length of 280mm @ f/4. ISO 800.

Yeah, I definitely lucked out with the framing. I'd have preferred fewer clouds--just a clean gradient of sky--but this works better than I had hoped.
