Hi everyone, Not the greatest image of a comet ever but I am pleased just to have captured this one at all. Despite good weather I have not managed to image it before last night and even then didn't spot it visually, just pointed the camera in the general direction and clicked away. Clouds near the horizon were a problem but they do make more a more aesthetically pleasing shot. This was a 2 second exposure at f/5.6 with a zoom lens at 70mm, ISO400. Thanks Dave

Not yet here either! Comets are a special treat and all these different photos are fun, nice to have something else in the mix when it comes along!

Yeah I agree totally, comets are amazing no matter how big/small bright/faint, lets just hope ISON lives up to the hype (not holding my breath!)
