This comet is REALLY difficult to set up and capture! Beautiful clear sky all around me except the horizon where its "hunt the comet" between clouds and fading sunlight.
Anyway this time I managed to capture it long enough for a sketch through the scope. Sky was mottled and seeing not so great - a shame I cannot see this comet against a darker sky.

Frank. No I don't think it was Algenib which would be outside my FoV. Looking later at Sky Safari I concluded it was HIP 2734 and its mag was about right at 6 given the seeing. Not certain however.

It is something wrong with N/W arrows in upper-left corner. North must be directed to about 1:30 o'clock.

Ernest - thanks you are right to point out an error. In my haste to complete the sketch last night I forgot to transform my scan through its correct cardinal rotation. The tail should be pointing more towards 1.30 if my N-W axes remains as described. I will modify the sketch.
