Evening all.
I took delivery of my 8se 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with it. Of course I feeling the urge to get into some decent AP and can't decide between the HEQ or the VX? Is the HEQ really worth the extra bucks?

I am not aware of a HEQ3 mount. Can you please give a link to its web page so that we can get some info on this mount ?

I think I would get the HEQ6 instead, it is a proven performer for AP, especially when hypertuned. The cost difference is relatively small between the HEQ5 and the HEQ6.

Yeah the 6 I've been told are quite heavy. I actually put a post on a few weeks ago asking which mount to go for that wouldn't break the bank and reasonably good for AP and was told the VX would be hard to beat price wise but was given the opinion I maybe disappointed with it and go for the HEQ. However, being a noobie I didn't realize that the VX at that time was new, and was thinking I should give it a while before asking again this question
