Hi Simon, any chance of porting this to Android?

Adam

Hi guys,

Unfortunately due to time constraints I've had to put off a lot of my programming stuff for a while (thus no updates to be seen for both Alt Az Align and SkyHarbinger).

Cheers,
Simon

Just another heads up, Alt Az Align is very buggy in iOS7. SkyHarbinger is working fine though.

Cheers,
Simon

Simon,

I just bought this for my iPod Touch 4th Gen to use with my Dob/Sky Commander and it is a slick little app. Very easy to use. Thanks!

I've been using Alt Az Align successfully on my iPhone 5 with iOS7. I've noticed issues when I try to change time zone, but nothing else.

However, in a discussion in these forums (and another Yahoo eGroup) using Alt Az Align with an Argo Navis, it became clear that Argo Navis would benefit from a star pair with a generous altitude separation to facilitate the AUTO ADJUST feature in the initial alignment model. I've noticed that Alt Az Align picks star pairs as close to 180-degrees azimuth as possible, excluding stars near the horizon and zenith, but not excluding stars with similar altitudes.

Not sure if this is worthy of an upgrade (I can pick the best altitude difference pair from the list)--and I like the app! But if you're already fixing iOS7 bugs....
