Jupiter 20130308 in SHENZHEN, "bloodstain" new
      #5740401 - 03/18/13 10:24 AM Attachment (80 downloads)

clear night again, good seeing for a while. Seeing is better than pre two nights. I can just capture IO transit, the shawdow just come in the body of Jove.
Though Jupiter is small now, that still show some details from my DOB10.Here is a red short band near a white spot in Sounth, like bloodstain.I think I dont see it before.

Beautiful work!! Do you have an eq platform for your dob? They can be difficult to work with if its at all windy, I know mine is!

look forward to more

Mike

ZZ's dob is synta's goto dob.
more difficult to use than eq-platform because of field spin and Center of gravity

Sam is right. I use original Skywatcher DOB10 GOTO,include the focuser. That not a smooth trace and a hard challenge. Maybe the jump of trace damage the imagine. But after all,the results are OK.
