While out the other night to photograph the comet with my DSLR I noticed M45 and Taurus straight overhead and made for a pretty pairing. Snapped this pic at 13 sec. at ISO 800.

Such a pretty part of the sky. Wish it was warmer when it was up. I'd spend all night visually scanning through it. Alas, I'm a wimp in the cold so I stick a camera out to do my dirty work while I go to bed LOL!
