Dear people,
I would like to introduce you the new directdrive mount NOVA 120 NOVA 120 . It can accomodate a telescope that weights 100 kg.
It is a directdrive mount (no worm and gear) and high resolution absolute encoders (50 millions steps per rotation).
Here is what it look like

This mount allows un-guided exposures.
I have tested this mount with a RC 250mm and 2000mm focal length telescope, and a camera that samples the sky at 0.5 arcsec/pixel, and here is some results :

The mount offers a pointing model and a speed pointing model that allows long unguided exposures even if the mount polar station is not perfect.
I have recorded a earth crossing asteroid called 1990 SP, a single 4 min exposure show its own motion ->
The mount can track the asteroid with its own motion speed relative to sideral speed :
This mount performs really well, I'mreally happy of it !

A NOVA 50 or 60 at half that price would appeal to a larger market.

Such beautiful Scopes and Mounts. I know what I want for Christmas. Sadly I can not afford anything this good. But if I ever win the Lottery or become Rich somehow, I will definitively come back and look into buying some of them.
They will now be in my top ten list of things to get when I become Wealthy. Until then I just have to dream about it.
