Looking for the weight of the Celestron/Vixen C102
      #5759491 - 03/27/13 01:28 AM

I can find the weight with the mount, but perhaps somebody has the weight of just the OTA.

Thanks in advance

My very, very old black Vixen made Celestron C102 weighs 9 lbs. 12 oz. without finder or eyepiece, with tube rings.

My old C102/f is f/8.9 and weighs less than 10 lbs w/o finder, diagonal and eyepiece. Tube rings included. Me likes it's light weight. A 120 f/5 I used to have seemed heavier.

Yep. Classic scope. Right on the edge of Grab-n-go with the SP mount.
