It's a shame that people have convinced themselves that the Pioneer anomaly is not real. Whatever, I'm proceeding on the assumption that it is, because, it is.

My money is on the thermoelectric generators as the cause of the deceleration.

Had the Pioneer Anomaly been real I would have expected a Voyager Anomaly as well.

And a New Horizons Anomaly.

The problem with having a Voyager or New Horizons anomaly is the attitude control. Voyager is not spin stabilized so it required attitude corrections that would have mask the anomaly had it actually existed. New Horizon has a similar issue, it is both spin and 3-axis controlled depending on which mode the spacecraft is operating in, switching modes will also mask the alleged anomaly.
