Nice photo of Orion Nebula and M51. Not too many use film.

For M51, what is that line to the right?

I do realize that the terms, "white zone", etc., are in reference to the degree of LP within a given area, but could someone be so kind as to update me as to where each color falls in the LP gradient.

This should help explain white zone and various other color zones.

What do the colors under the "light pollution" column mean?
