6-7 lbs!, I think I might need some counterweights in the mirror box for that one.

Thanks for sharing that video, Danny! It's nice to look at, but I don't think one of those will be in my future anytime soon. I've got entire scopes that are smaller and lighter than that beast!

Here's a photo of the 3" 30mm Explore Scientific eyepiece prototype and a 152mm f/8 Explore Scientific ED152 Carbon Fiber Edition f/8 Air Spaced Triplet apochromat with 3" focuser.

Mr. Mitsky,

you obviously looked thru it, what did you think? I had to refocus for the outer edge...

All refractors have non-flat fields unless the scope includes a field-flattener.

They would if you pay 'um enough!

I asked FT, and they have a 3-in focuser that will go right on either my ES127ED or my OGS 10" RC. I seem to remember a 3-inch focuser for Newts, and I'm sure something could be rigged up using the refractor focusers.

BTW, the focuser on the ES 6-inch APO is a rack & pinion.

I love my ES 30mm 82 degree on all of my scopes, so I bet that this 100 degree would be a real 'hoot' on my 20" F/5.

Also.... I saw at least one dealer with the 9mm 120 degree for sale, and several had the ES 25mm 100 degree. I didn't ask, but I'd assume that they would qualify for the "additional 20% off on everything" some dealers at least were offering.

I got the 14mm and the 10% discount was nice, I would like to have the 120° but I spent all my funds on the canon 6d this year.

Feathertouch does make a focuser to take this EP..... I will wait for the EP, to arrive if it emerges and then buy the Focuser.....

I too wish moonlight made a 3"
