When I ready for imaging, the clody covered. Lucky that I wait for some mins and cloud gone. Then I have time to get one set, seeing not steady, but OK.

For me this is the best Saturn image I've seen this year taking everything into consideration. Processing is gorgeous getting all those moons so nicely exposed and with a 10" Dob!

ZZ as a fellow Dob user I kneel before you!

That's a beauty ZuoZhao! The Seeliger brightening of the rings is especially well shown as is the polar hexagon and subtle shading of colors.

What Rik said. Truly an awesome result!

So smooth. Huge amount of details, and no artifacts.

Could you tell a bit about the stacking procedure? (amount of images recorded/stacked, shutter speed, etc etc)

Wow. Spectacular. I echo Emil's request - any capture/processing details you'd be willing to share? We all want to ge better results and learning from the Masters is the best way to do this....

I both love and hate that image.

I love it because it is FANTASTIC! WOW! In a 10" dob. You even got the moons clear in there.

I hate it because I know my odds of getting seeing good enough from my back yard to get close to that image are...1/10000+.

Great Job!

Holy Molly! What a fantastic image! Are you sure you don't have your own fleet of spacecraft imaging the outer planets? I cannot wait to see your images of Uranus and Neptune.

Thanks Emil and all others love my Saturn!
Capture need five or more mins for each channels,if seeing not good maybe ten mins better. I use 30~40fps , no doubt the speed depond on what you can reach! So I just use gain 100 at Saturn.
In As2 I use AP sizes 75, in fact, I am not sure which sizes best. Not like someone, I stacked a large number about 6000 8000 as large as it can. So if seeing not good you need captured more or must reduce to about 3000. That very hard to judge the number of stack : Sharpening or smooth?
So the focus is, you need combine difference stack and sharpening.
The sharpening, I use little effect in R6. It is important that the feather touch of Saturn sharpening. A heavy touch cause bad view. Someone like wide Encke , but that means over touch for me.
The later PS combine much effect on result. Color, moons , remove some errors on stack of sharpening...... Everything you like or don't like. This really personal and depon on your time and skill.
