Another great set of sketches Frank.

Do you have equatorial mounts for your Dobs? Or have you gotten to the point where you can sketch just fine without one?

I have one for my scopes but mostly use then on alt-az mounts for ease of use and quick set up.

Tommy5 and Eric,

Thank you both for your comments.

___
Eric,

I have two scopes on equatorial mounts. A 4.25" reflector and a 4" refractor. The 4" refractor is clock driven. I also have a Dobsonian equatorial platform for my scopes less than 13" inches. My 18" currently does not have a platform; I started building one then stopped then started again but never finished. Someday I will finish it.
I also plan to rebuild the 18" scope to reduce weight then I'll finish the platform.

Frank
