Here's my AP rig with my new Binoscope tripod. Works like a charm!

Here's my beginner setup. It has a few DIY parts (refractor, mounting plates) but still works good for what it is.

Heres pics of my setup from my apartment deck observatory.

I'm configured into galaxy hunting mode for now. The details:
Scope: Celestron C5 (their Nexstar SE model)
Mount: Celestron CGEM DX on custom pier

Main Camera: Orion Starshoot 3 Mono with Starshoot 3 7 slot filter wheel. No focal reduction (shootin at native 1250mm F/L)
Guide Camera: Meade DSI 2 color on Orion Magnificent Mini scope
E-Finder/Wide field camera: Canon Digital Rebel T3 with 75-200mm telephoto lens.

Other accessories:
Dew straps on every piece of glass, kendrick 4 slot 2 channel controller (shown in the image).
JMI motor focuser for SCT. It's an older style and probably the only style that fits on that scope.
Lots of zip-ties. These ones are reusable in case I want to reconfigure the scope.

I've retouched the collimation at least 4 times on this one and gotten better results each time. It's a true galaxy hunter. I have to tighten up the polar alignment so that it's just perfect and that's the fun part about my deck observatory. The deck is a cantilevered deck. This means the position of objects inside the house affects my polar alignment. The box locks up and so far has survived the winter and a few good rain sessions keeping everything inside perfectly dry.

It only looks like a mess because of the wires on the floor to the right. I pull those in through the door so I can control the whole thing from my TV.

Very cool Michael.

Here is a picture of my imaging rig. The main camera is a SBIG STF-8300m with a 8 filter wheel. Currently I have LRGB and Ha. It is on a Powerstar III c8 that has been deforked. It is riding on a Celestron CG-5 mount. The autoguider is a SBIG ST-i color through an old Meade 9x60 finder I had. An 1.25" diagonal I had lying around mates perfectly with the 9x60 instead of the original diagonal/eyepiece. The other finder is a standard 8x50 Celestron finder that came with the Powerstar III. Once I am aligned and focused, I can run the entire thing from inside by way of my wireless network. I use nexremote for scope control (together with SkyTools 3). Obviously I still need to get the cables sorted.

Yeah good cable sorting is something you really want. I run my cables to a tie on the GEM center hub (that's what the bungee cables are for) and then down the pier. It gives enough room for the scope to swing to all sections of the sky while keeping them from catching something. Basically the lest distance your cables move during a slew the less likely they'll catch something like a tripod knob and rip out or seize up your motors.

Zip ties work as a very basic cable management system. You can get velcro ones that can be detached to be reusable or in case you want to reconfigure your camera or other wires.

Here's another I made up using spare parts this evening. I'm gonna give this a try thinking I shouldn't have to refocus that much between RGB's...I hope.

I have now modified my setup to use a Losmandy style plate instead of a Vixen. I also changed the saddle on my CG-5 using the ADM kit so that it can take either style plate. I have added ADM's counterweight system for the declination axis, and I have switched to Orion's 50mm Helical guider for my guide telescope.

My modified Atlas(counter weight shaft, takes fitness weights) with the AT6RC set up for tonight at a dark location and clear sky. I've yet to polar align so the camera isn't attached.

I have two set ups refractors and a Newtonian.

I'll try to post an image of each if I can work out how to do attachments.

BRB

Nope, give me a clue please.
Is it because I am new and don't have enough posts yet?

later:
Right, found it in Edit mode.

My refractors.
This is a Skywatcher ED120 pro with an ST80 piggy backed for guiding.

I also have an ED80 pro.
