Hello everyone

Here's a picture I took last night, between two waves of clouds

Modded Canon 4500D/XSi Baader, 85 f/1.2L lens, Astrotrac, BackyardEOS
85 x 60 seconds @ 800 ISO, f/4.0, 30 darks, 100 bias/offsets.
Preprocessed and processed with PixInsight, minor tweakings with Photoshop CS5

Looks like a really good lens for AP , cool that you got Rho and the Blue Horsehead and some other faint stuff too.

Definitely, about 2-3 on the Bortle scale. It helps a lot if you don't have narrow band filters

Thank you rflinn68 !

What you think if I'll try it under a urban sky with the Hutch LDAS filter?

Yesterday I did a test [that maybe can be helpful for others] under an urban sky (BH, city centre) with limiting magnitude approx. near to 4.5.
The scope was the triplet 480mm, probabily not the best focal length for this target.
Anyway, I concluded that it is not feasible: after 60s there was no trace of the nebula.
I'll plan to go in the country around the city because I really love this target.

Regards,
Roberto
