Hello everyone:
From my home location (Northern Spain), Saturn is very low above the horizon this season (max 35 degrees), so trying and get a good picture, is an act of "masochism". That night, the planet of the rings looked like an ameba, with strong turbulence and low transparency.
I took this picture on 2013/05/05 at 22:46 U.T., with Celestron C9,25, DMK21AU618.AS, Baader P. RGB filters, and Powermate 2,5. 900 frames per channel, stacked with Registax.
Greetings from Pedro (Spain)

Next month, Ill be receving a brand new C11 EDGE HD, so I hope I get better pictures with the new equipment. What do you think about the C11 Edge, compared to the standard C9.25 that I own now?

Nice image, Pedro. There are a few users of the new Edge scope. I hope they see your post. Glenn? Alessandro?

A good image Pedro!

No experience with any "Edge" models, but a C11 should give you plenty more "pull" - my old C11 was/is a great scope!

Very good image Pedro.
I recently sold my C9.25 and bought a C11 EdgeHD (from Sedat Bilgebay). I can only use it a few times so far, but it is a very good scope I can say.

Hi Pedro,
I used to use a celestron c8 for imaging and I upgraded to a cll edge.BIG difference in planetary imaging.Much brighter images and you can get a nice size image with a 2.5 powermate amplifier.

I have read that the c9.25 is an excellent scope for planetary imaging though, so you may not as much of an improvement as I did.
