How to stop slewing immediately - VX mount
      #5849080 - 05/08/13 11:28 PM

I have a VX mount. A couple of times I have come super close to hitting the tripod with my diagonal or camera. Does anyone know how to make the mount stop slewing besides hitting the power button? I figure this is good information to have just in case. I would hate to hit the power button and then have to redo the whole alignment calibration routine if there is a way. I haven't tried yet, just figured someone would know. Thanks...

Press one of the direction keys and this will stop the mount.

you can setup slew limits.. I have this issue with my filter wheel hitting my electronics pier on my pro.
