Vixen NLVs new

Why, oh why, doesn't the Vixen NLV come in a f/l between 5mm and 9mm? To me, 6-8mm is perfect planet territory...all the others I have or have tried are great! (The 5mm gave me the best view of Saturn yet!)

I love mine! But yeah they dropped those focal lengths when they upgraded the body style. You can still find focal lengths between 5 and 9 in the old style, same optics, on the used market. The 5mm is my favorite in my 8" Dob for planetary.

Oh yeah, forgot about that 6 in the new. I have the 7 in the old style.
