FWIW... These look like clones of the 15 and 20mm Meade QX oculars.

Actually, I was thinking that these looked identical to the Apogee Widescans

Course that makes me wonder if the QX - well....

Thanks for the link, Tom! Yup, the Moonfish look even more like the Apogee Widescans. The Meade QX's have a barrel safety cut.
Cheers,
Clive.

If they are the Apogee Widescans, theres been a guy in Hong Kong selling the 20mms for £7.50 + £7 p&p on Ebay for the last few months. I might get a pair for my binos.

From the pic it looks identical to my 15mm Meade QX 4000 except for the lack of undercut barrel. I'm very happy with the performance of this eyepiece in my ETX-125. The view is sharper and more comfortable than either the 15mm or 20mm Meade 4000 plossls (at 70° it has the same field of view as the 20mm plossl). Looks like they are ideal for use in Maks and probably SCT's. I'd be interested to hear how they perform in something like a 10" Synta sourced dob.

I gave my Meade series 5k 14mm UWA to my grandnephew for his ETX-90. AT 89x, and a .9 degree field, it's a winner! Of course, it cost a bunch of money, but i didn't need it anymore, and he wanted it, so what could I do? Doug
