Thats crazy! Any idea what the craterlet resolution is?

Rob

Just looking at the LROC Imge browser and counting pixels, it looks like somewhere in the 700 m to 1 km range. There is a tiny craterlet just to the north of and on the ejecta blanket of Cauchy almost next to the rille that looks to be about 5 pixels across on the LROC image (about 725 m (at a 145 meters per pixel scale)), and it is just barely detectable. Considering I can see craterlets down to around 1 km or so with my 14 inch visually under the very best conditions, this is pretty darn good resolution! However, the contrast could have used a little boosting in the image processing. Clear skies to you.
