I enjoyed reading your article. Also, nice tip about using averted vision in binoculars.

I envy your dark sites. I've observed NGC 4565 through my 10" f/4.8 Dob at a yellow zone site. To me it looks like a fat needle with a long eye in the middle instead of at the end. One nickname is "The Needle."

NGC 4565 is in Coma Berenices. Looks like you went through another article without mentioning the constellations that objects are in. Some of us old stargeezers still get our bearings by the constellations. Please give the constellation for all objects.

Thank you for the comments, I will endeavour to put in the constellations. Things do seem to leak out of my brain at this point.
