Objective lens sources in Europe
      #5943426 - 06/27/13 04:56 PM

Hi all,

I would like to make a long focus 60-80 mm scope.

Does anyone know a lens source in Europe?

Thanks!

TS Telescope Service supply 3 105mm achro lens, at 1000, 1300 and 1500mm focal length.
Cost is 360 to 400 Euro, seems a bit high. LINK
Cannot see anything on the APM site as all theirs are ED and APO's.

Teleskop Austria sells some achromat lens in cell in the above range, 72/900, 83/900 and 102/1000, see: Teleskop Austria

You can get some 60/700mm ones here:

http://www.scopesnskies.com/AstroBoot

Just commercial lenses, probably from a chinese achromatic refractor, I have one of the 60/700 ones and it's OK.

I don't normally recommend that particular supplier, but for things from that used page I think they're OK.
