Scripting to your Gemini-2?
      #5947101 - 06/29/13 07:47 PM

I was wondering if anyone had any idea how you could script commands to a Gemini-2? For instance, if I wanted to tell it to park from a command line or just sending it a web command?

I know I can do this in MaximDL... a solution not tied to a software package would be awesome.

You need to ask this question on the Gemini 2 Yahoo Group. The person that is writing the code for Gemini is on that Group.

Actually, i think you would need to ask that in the Gemini ASCOM driver yahoo group. I assume the easiest way to achieve this is via ASCOM which is how all programs interact with the mount.

Basically, learn to script ASCOM mount control and you can do this scripting for any ASCOM mount
