(Two Photos - One endcut side, one side view)

I obtained this from a real close friend who resides in Paraguay. It is meteoric. Can you guess what class of meteorite it is?

Hint: It's not what it obviously appears to be.

Hey Davio,

It looks like an iron graphite nodule to me.

Hi Davio,

Your hint is frustrating. My initial thought at seeing the photo is that the meteorite is an Acapulcoite. But since "it's not what it obviously appears to be". I am going to need to play 20 questions. Is it a differentiated meteorite?

Peter

Yeah, when are you going to let the cat out of the bag Davio? My initial thought was nodule, reminded me of this in a way: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v420/n6912/fig_tab/nature01100_F1.html

But I think Mike nailed it with Silicated Campo. So, are any of us close? Let's here it...

Hey Guys,
I'm impressed! You're all soooooooo good. It is a silicate nodule taken from a huge slice of Campo del Cielo. It was a gift from a friend who is probably the biggest supplier of Campos in the world.
