I'm 'between' tripods at the moment... was looking at Charles' own developments but may go for a berlebach as I'm based in Europe.

It's only to support a TSA102s for now (but a TEC140 would be a good size on the Nova - wife permitting that is!) So, a UNI 24/28 may be on the cards, or to go for a Planet as 'future proofing'.....choices, choices....!?

Thanks again - enjoy your new mount - keep us informed to how you get on under the stars with it as there are still a few options I am looking at - I have already added the cam locks, but there is a further choice of cam locks for the saddle on/off - rather than the machined knobs before shipping....

Damian, I think that a TEC-140 on a UNI 24 would bee too much for the tripod.

Cam locks for saddle on saddle off are great and well worth it IMHO.
