The warm room is completed, its about 7'x11', this structure is only to house the pier and scope, the tractor is a great help when digging in the northeast. The ground is mostly rock and hardpan(which is this close "||" to being rock)

As a fellow Adirondack guy I can agree with the digging part. I finally found a huge glacial boulder buried in a good position in my yard and built my pier and observatory on top of it!
