£11.50 for a reticle eyepiece!

Optical Vision Limited make a nifty little plastic cross hair reticle that screws into filter thread of a 1.25" eyepiece (Cross-Hair Reticle, Item number 558). It won't work on every eyepiece as the cross hairs will only come into focus at a specific distance from the bottom lens of an eyepiece, and that distance is different for each eyepiece! However, it works great with my 20mm Moonfish wide angle. Accurate Autostar alignment is now a doddle. It also helps with drawing by creating a nice grid to help you place the relative positions of objects in the FOV more accurately. This could never be described as a quality piece of kit, but if you want a quick and cheap aid for alignment or drawing, this could be the baby.
The cost, just £11.50 from OVL or a large number of dealers across Europe. I'm afraid it doesn't look as though anyone in the US or Canada has picked up this product yet.
